It's also now available in three tip sizes - 8mm, 9mm and 10mm - to fit the vast majority of your patients with mild-to-moderate hearing loss. Following this clinically proven protocol can optimize fitting success with Songbird Digital: Start with the 8mm tip size. Begin an initial fit with an 8mm tip size for both male and female patients. If the patient is comfortable and there is no feedback, then you can complete the dispense. If you have feedback or if the instrument is too loose, move on to the 9mm tip size.
